The Sense Making (Battlespace Knowledge Management) Workshop is being planned in cooperation with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Technical Committee on Intelligence and C2 Systems. Its purpose will be to explore how best to convert the masses of available battlespace information into knowledge useful to the commander. The term “sense making” has been selected to reflect the need for fundamental thinking in this area.
