The second volume in this series of Command and Control Research Symposia presentation collections, Coping with Complexity contains seventeen papers. The authors address topics as diverse as organization theory, C2 assessment, targeting, and neural networks. The collection focuses specifically on addressing two kinds of complexity: that of missions and resources and that of advanced technology and its application to C2 issues. As with the first volume, each paper has a limited list of references, and a section of authors' biographies is included.
