These documents summarize the activities of a series of workshops organized by the Center for Advanced Command Concepts and Technology for the purpose of examining C2 issues in the peace operations context. Informed by a range of documents and testimony on recent US peacekeeping experience, the participants have attempted to derive a detailed understanding of peace operations and of the C2 structures and relationships required for success in such operations. Design efforts are focused on the Mission Capability Package concept. These documents are brief summaries, rather than extensive proceedings. The volume on Workshop 3 carries the two previous workshop documents as appendices.
