Abstract

As usual, the keynote papers are presented first, followed by the various sectional concentrations. The plenary papers in this session sought to contrast the perspectives of the warfighter, OSD, and the research community. Human and behavioral research were highlighted, with the usual collection of papers on theory, modeling, and evaluation. Also featured were papers on synthetic and open systems environments and on dual-use technologies. The 47 submitted papers are broken into five sections by theme (roughly, organization/structure/teaming, theory, modeling, effectiveness issues, and technological innovations and applications), but a schedule of the symposium is included, showing how the presentations were grouped in sessions.
