Fees:

The registration fee is $220.00 payable in U.S. dollars. Deadline for priority registration is June 1, 1999. For registrations received after June 1, 1999, the fee will be $250.00. Late registration fees will be waived for registrants from outside of the United States. The registration fee will include one copy of the symposium proceedings in print and on CD-ROM, a welcome reception on Tuesday evening, June 29, continental breakfast and lunch each day of the Symposium, and refreshments throughout the day.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received before June 1, 1999 will result in a full refund of paid registration fees. Cancellations received between June 1 and June 15, 1999 will result in a refund of 50% of paid registration fees. No refunds will be available for cancellations received after June 15, 1999.

 


Lodging:

Blocks of hotel rooms have been reserved through the Bachelor’s Quarters on the Naval Base and at the Ramada Inn. Both accept government per diem rates.

In order to receive the special symposium rates, mention that the reservation is being made under the group name "CCRTS" for both locations. The deadline for reserving rooms is May 1, 1999, after which date rooms blocked will be released for public use without application of the special symposium rates.


Parking and Transportation:

At the rooms on the Naval Base, you are within walking distance of the Symposium.

At the Ramada Inn, the hotel has a shuttle service. Please make arrangements at the front desk.

Transportation from the airport to local area hotels can be made through Cozy Cab, Inc. Make these arrangements at least one week prior to your arrival by calling 1-800-846-1502.

Location of Conference:

The conference registration will take place in the Rotunda at Mahan Hall. All participants should enter through Pringle Hall and then follow the signs to Registration. (Please see map of Naval War College for location.) At registration, you will be given a map providing complete information on where the plenary sessions and track sessions will be held.


Security

The conference is UNCLASSIFIED. No clearances are needed to attend.

Recreation

A traditional New England Clam Boil has been arranged to take place on Wednesday, 30 June, 1999 from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. The cost is $35.00 per person. If you are interested in participating, please  register in advance. This registration is separate from that of the symposium.
